Subs

Pump In / Flow Sub

The pump in/ flow tee sub is a short joint of lubricator with customer specified connections on the top and bottom, with a BX-152 flanged side port. Typically a BX 152 by 2” 1502 WECO thread half adapter is made up to the side port.

Features
  • Working pressures from 3000 PSI to 15000 PSI
  • Available in nominal sizes from 2 1/2”- 7’
  • Standard and sour service environments
  • Available with Flanged, Otis, Bowen, or Slimline hand union connections
  • Available with any customer specified side port connections.

Chemical Injection Sub

The Chemical Injection Sub is designed to inject coolant or inhibitor fluids on to the coiled tubing while running into or out of the well. The internal brass sleeve has small pin holes that provide an even coating of the fluid on the tubing. Forum’s 4 1/16″ coolant / inhibitor injection sub comes with two 2″ 1502 Weco port connections for connection with an injection line. A check valve design is incorporated in the weco ports to prevent wellbore pressure from escaping into the injection line.

Chemical injection subs are available from 5000 PSI to 15000 PSI working pressures, for standard or sour service environments.

Features
  • Comes with a brass insert that can be replaced if worn
  • Available with Flanged or Otis or Bowen hand union connections
  • Available with internal diameters of 3 1/16”, 4 1/16”, 5 1/8”,or 7 1/16”

Quick Test Sub

The quick test sub increases efficiency when pressure testing pressure control equipment when multiple runs are being made. Historically, the only way to ensure integrity of your pressure control equipment after a single connection was broken, was to fill the lubricator and retest the entire string. With the Quick Test sub, the connection that is broken can be retested by pressure testing the space between the two o-ring seals on the quick test sub. This is a small volume and can be pressured up quickly with a hydraulic hand pump. A needle valve, with a metal to metal seal, can seal off the test port after testing is finished.

Forum has the ability to incorporate this test union on one set or all of the unions in your pressure control equipment string.

Features
  • Working pressures from 3000 PSI to 15,000 PSI
  • Available in nominal sizes from 2 1/2”- 7”
  • Standard and sour service environments
  • Available with a variety of hand union connections
  • Available with any customer specified side port connections.

Pump-In Sub

Features
  • The installation location is customer dependant, but its uses are fairly common and straight forward.
  • The Pump-in sub allows for well control by providing a port to “pump-in” fluids.
  • Available with flow diverter sleeve for wireline protection.
  • Another common use is a fluid sampling port. The port connection is a type-W compatible hammer union (integral, or thread-in).
  • The fact that the upper and lower union combinations are built to your request makes the pump-in sub a perfect connection cross-over point.
  • 15,000 psi. working pressure
  • 22,500 psi. test pressure
  • H2S service compatible

Note: Pressure and service, dependent on union requested.

Pump-Out Sub

Designed to reduce or eliminate pulling a “wet string”
