Liner Retention Systems (Kwik-Clamp)

Liner Retention Systems (Kwik-Clamp)

  • Very fast and safe liner changes. Much reduced down time and LTAs due to crushed fingers etc.
  • No hammers or cheater bars required.
  • Positive liner retention - No liner movement.
  • Automatic clamping means no more under or over tightening.
  • Easy installation - Direct replacement for OEM equipment.
  • Easy operation with conventional air or hand operated hydraulic pump.
  • DNV & LLOYDS certified.
  • Versions available for most pumps from 1000 HP to 2200.

The P-Quip Kwik-Clamp Liner Retention System has been designed to hold liners firmly to the fluid end by means of very powerful spring mechanisms. These springs are simply and very quickly compressed by means of a small hydraulic pump which releases the clamping force, allowing the clamping flange to be removed.

Once the old liner has been removed and the new one fitted, the clamping flange is replaced and the liner re-clamped by releasing the hydraulic pressure which applies spring force to the liner. The entire liner replacement operation generally takes one man three to five minutes to complete.

Liner movement during high pressure operations is almost imperceptible, resulting in substantially improved liner and piston life in most cases. Furthermore since the spring force is of known value, under and over tightening is almost impossible.
