Forum Subsea Technologies requires Systems Integration Lead Hands to assist the supervisor in coordinating integration and factory acceptance testing of standard ROV products providing field support as required. This position is based in Kirkbymoorside, North Yorkshire.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Perform and help coordinate the commissioning and integration of ROV products to the required standards.
Responsible for and reports to the integration supervisor on progress, issues and delays regarding allocated projects.
Supervise personnel to ensure that work is performed in accordance with our quality system, workmanship standards and Integration schedules.
Work closely with customers to complete factory acceptance testing (FAT`s) passing on any customer requests additional to contracts to either the Integration Supervisor or Project Manager.
Serve as a Field Support Technician on and offshore.
Ensure a safe working environment as well as maintaining and servicing the Integration work areas and equipment used.
Interface with the engineering department on test specifications and procedures initiate the required corrections through the system engineer/ECN process, any deviations or discrepancies to be passed on to the integration supervisor or project engineer completing the appropriate paper work.
Assist product support when required with faults or issues occurring off site.
In the absence of the Integration Supervisor, supervise personnel and oversee the running of the department and projects within the department.
Be part of the 24 hour hotline service on rotation with other Lead Hands/Supervisors/Managers.
Carry out any necessary repairs or modifications in preparation for FAT’s with the customer.
Assist customers and customer representatives at all times.
Ensure all work areas are kept tidy in accordance with visual workspace control and health and safety requirements.
Carry out any in house testing or fault finding required.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
ONC/OND in electric/electronics is essential.
16th/17th edition regulations is desirable.
Must be analytical.
Must be able to read and understand technical drawings and procedures.
Continuous improvement procedures and design.
Technical proficiency in electronics, hydraulics and/or computers is essential.
Basic fault finding.
Must be able to travel and work offshore.
Accurate and detail oriented.
Previous experience in a similar field of work is essential.
