Systems Integration Technican
Description of function:
Ensure efficient and accurate integration of all technical aspects relating to ROV products prior to and during FAT (factory acceptance testing). Provide technical assistance in the field (offshore and onshore) when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform the commissioning and integration of ROV products.
- Work closely with customers to complete factory acceptance testing (FAT`s).
- Serve as a field support technician on and offshore
- Ensure a safe working environment as well as maintaining and servicing the integration test areas and equipment used.
- Interface with the Engineering department on test specifications and procedures noting any deviations or discrepancies.
- Assist Product Support when required with faults or problems occurring off site, carrying out any in house testing or fault finding required.
Accountabilities:
- Commissioning and integration of ROV products to the required standards carrying out any necessary repairs or modifications in preparation for FAT’s with the customer.
- Complete factory FAT’s, passing on any customer requests additional to contracts either the integration supervisor or project manager.
- Assisting customers and customer representatives at all times.
- To pass on any noted deviations or discrepancies to the integration supervisor or the project engineer.
- To assist product support when required with faults or problems occurring off site, carrying out any in house testing or fault finding required.
