Job Description

Forum Drilling Technologies require a Personnel Logistics Service Coordinator to carry out the service process in line with customer requirements.  This position is based in Findon, Aberdeen.

 

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

 

Carry out the service process in response to customer orders and enquiries to ensure timely and cost effective delivery of product.
Coordinate engineers travelling – engineers with customers & preferred dates.
Ensure cost effective flight and accommodation to make sure customer is getting good options.
Ensure regular check on visa restrictions/ health precautions and vaccinations for destination.
Job costing for each service trip, ensuring all relevant paperwork matches so as to eliminate delays at invoicing.
Become familiar with and work within internal procedures that cover HR, quality, health, safety, the environment, and corporate systems.
As required, prepare product quotations in response to queries by external customers.
Efficiently communicate progress of orders with customers and management alike.
Process information into the company system in a timely fashion.
Prepare and submit weekly report of on-going activities to management in a timely fashion – weekly check sheets.
Develop skills and knowledge to provide coverage for absent departmental colleagues as required.
Other duties as directed by the Repair and Field Service Manager.
Quality assurance - All staff are responsible for the completeness of their work and reporting any quality, or perceived quality problems through their line manager or direct to the QHSE Manager.

 

Required Qualifications & Skills:

 

Secondary school qualifications are desirable.
Knowledge of personal logistics procedures and requirements for the supply of personnel throughout Europe, Middle East, Far East and North Africa – other Eastern Hemisphere regions as required is essential.
Computer literate with sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
Strong customer focus and keen commercial acumen.
Team player.
Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and conflicting demands.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Previous experience within a similar role is essential.
